Kashmir 4-Day Escape

You arrive at Srinagar Airport and settle into a comfortable 3-star hotel such as Star of Kashmir, Royal Heritage, The Victory, or Grand Kaisar. Rested and refreshed, the day opens with the elegance of Mughal gardens — Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh — lined with terraced lawns, fountains and Chinar trees. Later, a Shikara ride on Dal Lake glides across floating gardens and reflections of the mountains. Optional visit to Shankaracharya Temple offers a hilltop view over the city. As dusk falls, stroll along Boulevard Road before retiring for dinner and your first night in Kashmir.

After breakfast, you travel to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers. Set against sky-piercing peaks, Gulmarg invites you to board the Gondola (Phase I) — a gentle ascent to panoramic horizons and snow-traced slopes. You may explore the meadows, visit St. Mary's Church, or enjoy optional snow activities if available. By late afternoon, you return to Srinagar for dinner and a restful night at your hotel.

After breakfast, the journey continues toward Pahalgam with a refreshing stop at the Saffron Fields of Kashmir Valley. You continue along river valleys and forest slopes to reach Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds. Local taxis take you deeper into the hills to explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari — where pine forests, tumbling streams and pasturelands shape a picture-perfect day. An evening stroll along the Lidder River brings calm before returning to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay (Hotel or optional Houseboat).
