Tosa Maidan, meaning 'meadow of wild horses', is a spectacular alpine meadow located in the Pir Panjal range of Kashmir. Spread across several kilometers at an elevation of about 11,000 feet, this vast grassland was once used as a firing range but has now been opened to tourists. The meadow offers breathtaking 360-degree views of snow-capped peaks, rolling green hills, and endless blue skies. During summer, the meadow is carpeted with wildflowers, creating a stunning natural spectacle. It's an ideal destination for camping, trekking, horse riding, and experiencing pristine wilderness away from crowded tourist spots.



Tosa Maidan was used as a high-altitude firing range until recently, now opened for tourism.
